A clip of “At the End of the Day” from the upcoming movie Les Miserables.
I had the biggest grin on my face the whole time. Man this song was done well. I am really pumped to hear all of this. Anne Hathaway is just doing an amazing job as Fantine. So good.
I’m still weary of how low the music is mixed. Like, you can barely hear it at times. One of the best things about Les Miserables is the score. And you can barely hear it in almost all of these scenes. I desperately hope it’s just because some of the mixing isn’t done. But I highly doubt it since they’ve been screening the film everywhere and they’ve released these clips.
But at least the singing was brilliant in this clip!
i think having Anne looking directly at the camera is kind of weird, and her reactions to the chorus are a little awkward… also the boss’s voice isn’t as rough as it should be…
Honestly, I kinda like her looking at the camera? Reminds me of watching the musical, when the actors would look into the audience.
Don’t care much for the boss’s voice either, but he’s a small part.
Ugh but this just looks so GREAT. SO GREAT.
CAN’T WAIT for this movie. It’s going to be spectacular.
